The Dura Garden: Fun stuff with plastic dishes, wire mesh, scissors & glue!
The Dura Garden
Every Easter Sunday Morning,
A concoction of dishware,
Morphs into an unlikely garden…
A drift of daffodils,
A march of tulips,
A crop of crocuses,
A stand of delphinium,
Crowding into a collection of other species, most peculiar.
Truly,
A vision in plastic,
Announcing,
Laughing,
Welcoming the energy in all that proclaims,
The return of Life,
In the spring,
And within us all.
“How To” Instructions: Look, learn, get out your glue gun, watch your fingers. Invite some friends. Plant. Laugh. More "how to" in the Canadian Living crafts onine article here »
Green Note: Some of the flowers are over 15 years old! Just re-glue where necessary. Add a few new ones. It is quantity that counts.
