World Wildlife Fund
acrylics
I was commissioned by the World Wildlife Fund to create a series of images that would keep their Mission “in view”, literally, for their many volunteers, members and workers. It was a very special project. It was an honour to be among people who were so passionate and dedicated to their cause.
The series is composed of 26 original acrylic paintings, (20” x 15 1/4") and is on display in their Toronto Headquarters. World Wildlife Fund Canada (WWF-Canada) … has become one of the country's leading conservation organizations, enjoying the active support of more than 150,000 Canadians.
As a member of the WWF global network, we actively contribute to the achievement of the organization's mission: To stop the degradation of the planet's natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature, by:
- conserving the world's biological diversity,
- ensuring that the use of renewable natural resources is sustainable,
- promoting the reduction of pollution and wasteful consumption. WWF Canada's Conservation Program is tackling some of the most daunting conservation challenges facing the country, as well as the broader international community.
